Three take away points for a reader or listener:

  1. It is everyone’s job to support sexuality education in some capacity

  2. Sexuality education will never look the same for two individuals throughout life

Autistically Scott and Jenny loughran connect through their love of passions and dedicated interests!!

Jenny and Scott explore how children's passions and dedicated interests are an opportunity for parents/guardians to organically connect, providing a window of opportunity to learn from and connect with their child, as their brain enters its happy flow state and is at its most productive in terms of processing and cognition.

As part of Jenny Loughrans role as department guide for the Education dept, she will explore along side Scott, how parents/guardians maybe influenced under the pathology paradigm (The medical model of disability) into believing that their child's interests are "obsessions and fixed interests" and how this impacts when trying to connect with their child.
