Dr. Autumn Dae Miller

Department guide - Sexual Health & Relationships

Autumn is an Autistic & ADHD-awesome adult. She spent her youth gathering three degrees in the bio-psycho-social-spiritual aspects of human sexuality. While she celebrated successfully having her loans forgiven in 2023, she realized there weren’t enough marriage and family therapists working with disabled folks - now she’s getting her MFT degree. Autumn has been working in the field of disability and sexuality for 20+ years and has never had a boring day.

Her vantage point made her a unique candidate for the Clinical Department at KenCrest where she has worked her way up to Director of Behavioral Health Supports and Services. KenCrest Clinical Department has taken a stand against antiquated forms of ABA.  Approaching human behavior through human sexuality has been the catalyst for creating a trauma-informed, culturally-sensitive, relationally-based, Systemic, and holistic approach to clinical services for Intellectually Disabled and/or Autistic adults and students.

Autumn loves horror movies and BBC mini-series. She listens to dubstep and Audio books while she runs, does yoga, or feeds her 3 fuzz nuggets. She is distracted by shiny things and can be found – most days – having too many meetings, drinking too much Purity Coffee, all while covered in a weighted blanket and at least 3 fidgets.
She is still learning to embrace her imperfections and hopes that everyone else sees they're beautiful.
